Update 0.2


After just few days, I'm coming with a new update

I added few things that will make the game a lot better going into the future and (hopefully) fixed bugs that were appearing in the last version.

Added a rarity system: Now all items are in one of 3 categories (common, rare and legendary). That way I can add some more powerful items further down the line.

The player now needs less souls to level up on later levels. I heard that it's quite hard to level up later down the line, so I changed how next level requirements are calculated and it will hopefully be enough.

Placed Stapler and Sac Dagger into the Rare category. After some playtesting and feedback from the players I can certainly say these two items are way too overpowered and overshadow all the other items in the game.

Nerfed Stapler.

Changed how most items work. Most stats are now changed by adding precentages of the basic value.

Bug Fixes: Player was able to go through the wall. Enemies spawned in wrong places.

Future plans: I'm planning on making semi-regular updates (every week or so) for the next month or two. I'm also looking for a pixel artist to help me make the game a little nicer to look at. The next update will probably add around 5 more items, 1 or 2 more enemies and rework how the trees work.
